Why Microsoft, why?

In recent years we have seen an increase in the number of pc’s, pre-installed with windows home edition and have asked ourselves that exact question. Why windows, why? This in many circumstances is not the optimal solution for your business needs. When I think of home, a sense of comfort and warmth washes over me. Relaxed feeling of sitting watching sport or a movie with popcorn in hand. Very rarely based on one of a clinical environment filled with network cables and pc’s. I think this reign true for those at Microsoft as well. This makes perfect sense. A windows home product is designed for a single user in the home situation with little to no need to connect to a central server or wider area network. Yes, the internet is a network, but this is a single line of communication facilitated via the router. Which is catered for so that you can receive updates, send email, and browse the internet!

In trying to use a Microsoft windows home product in an intense network environment you strain the pc. In some instances, it responds and in others it will fail dismally. It is the equivalent of using a oil whilst sunbathing. Inevitably, somethings going to fry. This in most cases is not your fault. You need a pc urgently and go to a retailer and purchase one. There is no questions around your needs, to help identify the exact product let alone the software. Windows pro and windows home are not the same thing. The home version is for small network needs. If you have network with domain setups and multiple workstations steer well clear of windows home edition. Ask the question, Which version of windows does this pc have? Will save you time and hence money.
