Business Gateway – Admin Agent Reset

Sage 200 Evolution’s Business Gateway Module gives you the ability to create a link into your Sage Evolution database by using a web browser to connect. This module gives you the ability to allow your traveling sales staff, to create CRM incidents and send internal requests to staff at head office. The setup is made up of an Admin user and individual users. The Admin user is used to create access to the database and to setup users on the Business Gateway.
Recently we had a client that had a corrupt Admin User which prevented them from logging into the Business Gateway and making changes to users. To resolve this issue without losing the setup of the Admin account or the setup of the database, you will need to do the following:
1. In SQL Management Studio delete the Admin user form the dbo.tUser table in the “Gateway” database.
2. Once this is done, go into the IIS manager and created a new Admin user.
3. This will allow you to log back into the Business Gateway online as well as not lose the link to the Evolution Database.
